Balinder qualified in 2004 from Newcastle Dental School and continued postgraduate training by achieving her Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons (MFDS) in Edinburgh while doing an SGHO Maxillofacial post in Sunderland in 2006. In 2007 she obtained her Diploma in Conscious Sedation from Newcastle and has carried out Conscious Sedation regularly ever since, as well as working in a specialist anxiety management clinic for 3 years previously.
Currently Balinder is the sole performer for the NHS sedation contract providing sedation for South Tees. Along with the team, she aims to not only help put patients at ease, but provide high quality NHS and private dental care and guide patients to prevent dental disease and maintain good oral health.
Balinder has always been keen on broadening her knowledge and experience in dentistry. Her special interests are Sedation, Cosmetic Dentistry and Implants. At present she has completed her certificate course in Implant Dentistry at Warwick University and Cosmetic Restorative Dentistry at UCLAN and hopes to complete her MSC’s in the near future.
